Sign-in options, password resets, and deleting your account

Ways to sign in

Tripl supports three sign-in methods on the web:

  • Email and password
  • Continue with Google
  • Continue with Apple

Use the same method each time so you land in the same account.

Reset your password

  • On the login page, click Forgot password?
  • Enter your email and click Send reset link.
  • Open the email and click the link.
  • Choose a new password, at least 6 characters.

This is also how you change a password you still know. There is no separate change-password form in Settings yet.

Email preferences

In Settings, under Email Preferences, you can turn off product update emails. Account and security emails, like password resets, always send.

Delete your account

Deletion is self-serve and permanent.

  • Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone.
  • Click Delete my account.
  • Tripl offers export links first. Take them if you want your data.
  • Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion cancels any active subscription and permanently removes your expenses, receipt files, and account. It cannot be undone.

Common questions

How do I change my password?

Use the Forgot password link on the login page. You will get an email link to set a new password, whether or not you remember the old one.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?

Yes. Account deletion cancels the subscription and removes all your data: expenses, receipts, and the account itself.
