Export your expenses and receipts

Everything lives in Settings, under Data Export. Three formats, no gates.

CSV of all expenses

Click Export All Expenses (CSV). You get every expense with date, amount, category, description, reimbursement details, and source. Open it in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

ZIP of all receipt files

Click Download All Receipts (.zip). This is every receipt image and PDF you have uploaded, named by date and description.

Tax Report PDF

Under Tax Report, pick a year and click Export PDF. The report covers reimbursements you logged in that year and includes:

  • A summary of total reimbursed and the original expense totals.
  • An itemized table of every reimbursement.
  • The receipt images, embedded one per page.

This is the file to keep with your tax records for the year. It is for personal record-keeping, not a form you submit to the IRS.

Moving to another tool or Tripl Local

For a complete portable copy of your account, use a .tripl bundle instead. It packages expenses, categories, and receipts in one importable file.

Common questions

Can I export on the free plan?

Yes. CSV export, the receipts ZIP, and the yearly Tax Report PDF all work on the free plan. Your data is never held hostage.

What does the Tax Report PDF include?

All reimbursements you logged in the selected year: a summary, an itemized table, and the receipt images embedded in the PDF.
